Welcome to your Naxos vacation. Plaka Villas is where cycladic aesthetics and modern comforts come together. Offering you the best of the quiet countryside and convenience for your holiday on Naxos, the largest of the Cyclades. It is the perfect holiday destination for all tastes from romantic escapes, safe family fun to adventure seekers. Plaka Villas are the perfect place to base yourself for relaxation and exploration. It is also the most fertile according to Greek mythology it is the site of the love story between Dionysus and Ariadne where the Portara now stands. He was the God of Wine and Hedonism so be prepared to be enraptured with Naxos. The richness of the land offers a tasty array of local produce from fruits and vegetables, local greens and herbs collected on the mountainsides but also livestock catering to the tastes of the discerning epicurists. Private pools ensure that you can take a dip any hour of the day or night. Our 24hr virtual reception is availbale should you require assistance.
Naxos offers something for everyone from mountain hikes or rides to deep ocean dives, local foods to satisfy every craving, quiet beachside bars, nightclubs whatever takes your fancy. There are endless stretches of beaches from calm coves to spots where the wind blows all day most days for the kitesurfers and windsurfers.
THE VILLAS
At Plaka Villas, we have two accommodation options. Each home has been carefully designed to ensure our guests have everything they need during their stay.
Sofia and Matina are new villas located in a very peaceful area of Plaka just minutes form the beach. They can be booked individually but can also be rented together to accommodate large groups up to 15 guests. It is the perfect area to taylor your vacation to suit you! You choose how much you want to get involved in the action and how much you just want to escape from the world and just soak up the sun and laze poolside and just let time slide by as the sun slips beneath the horizon. You won’t want to leave.
Each property has its own private swimming pool, outdoor jacuzzi and spacious well furnished outdoor areas with BBQ and dining spacing to take advantage of the Greek summer weather and warm nights. There is a regular bus which runs every 30 mins in the summer from various spots along Plaka beach to town.
SOFIA
Designed with your convenience in mind, Sofia is fitted with everything you require for your stay at Plaka Villas.
Villa Sofia can sleep seven guests comfortably. There are three bathrooms one for each of the beautifully decorated bedrooms. There is also and outdoor shower. Villa Sofia has an open plan kitchen lounge/ TV games room complete with board games. This opens out through the balcony door to the outdoor area, private pool and patio with outdoor furnishings and gas BBQ. The kitchen is equipped with oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. On the upstairs balcony there is an outdoor hot tub where you can sit and watch the sunset over the Aegean Sea. Plaka beach and all it has to offer as far as beaches, restaurants and bars is an easy 11- minute walk. The ideal place for your stay.

MATINA
Villa Matina Is perfect for a large family, two families or a group of friends.
Villa Matina sleeps 8 easily (with a single sofa bed and infant cot if required). Three double bedrooms and one twin room all with wardrobes. Tastefully decorated with attention to detail. Villa Matina has three bathrooms all fitted with showers and toilets a perfect mix of tradition modern. There is also an outdoor shower pool side. The home has multiple outdoor areas for alfresco dining fitted with an array of outdoor furnishings and gas BBQ. There are multiple verandahs and the rooftop has a huge open air hot tub. The large lounge and open plan kitchen are well fitted with dishwasher, microwave, stove, dining table, Nespresso coffee machine and oven. The TV lounge area has space to play and boards games for your enjoyment. An easy walk to Plaka Beach with restaurants, mini markets, watersports and more. Perfect to stay and play all day and then meander home for a quiet drink by the pool after the sun goes down.
